The Cos Cob Fire Police Patrol is a volunteer company which operates under the structure of the Greenwich Fire Department in the Town of Greenwich, Connecticut. The company conducts traffic operations, scene control, salvage, lighting, and other support functions for the fire department at calls for service. The Patrol is under the command of its own Chief. In the 2005-2006 election year, the company responded to 1421 calls and provided the town with 6,680 man hours. The patrol currently has a 2004 Pierce heavy rescue truck which is known as Patrol 2 and a 2009 Ford F-550 Utility Box known as Utility 2. The company is located at the Cos Cob Firehouse (Station 2).

Congrats to Patrolmen Sachs and Brown! Patrolman Sachs recently passed Firefighter I and Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operational Certifications. Patrolman Brown recently passed Fire Fighter I and Firefighter II and Hazardous Materials Awareness and Operational Certifications.

CCFPP has just sent out the annual fund drive mailing in coordination with the Cos Cob Volunteer Fire Company. It should arrive at your home or business in the next few days. Please be as generous as you can and thank you in advance for your continued support.
March 20th
We would like to congratulate three CCFPP company members, Mike, Scott, and Jason for passing their Connecticut State DOT Q Endorsement certification. With these additions, our company now has eight members qualified to drive large fire apparatus such as our primary vehicle, Patrol 2.
March 17th
Members and apparatus of the Cos Cob Fire Police responded to more than 150 incidents and provided hundreds of man hours during the major storm which started on Saturday the 13th.
